100 % called

"I am 100 % called to this ministry." This is what I told my Team Leader on Saturday during our prayer session at LAUNCH. This weekend was a prepratory weekend to finalize my song choice, make editions to my monologue and polish up my modeling skills. I learned so much about the entertainment industry this weekend, that my brain is on overload! But, it is all very valuable information and I pray that one day I get to use this information for Him. I pray that in Orlando is the opportunity opened for me to serve Him. To get my foot in the door of this industry and be a part of changing it and bringing Christ back to the center of all entertainment.


The one thing that I realized throughout this process is that I am called to work for the Lord. I am called to be a part of this industry in whatever way God chooses to use me. Whether it is getting a major recording contract to small jobs here and there, I am His to use. I will be the vessel that it takes to bring Christ and all His glory back to every aspect of the job. To pray about my coworkers and the parts that they play to witnessing to them through MY ACTIONS. Accepting parts that have no foul language or directions that would compromise my morals of being a Christian. Doing what it takes to show the world that entertainment can be powerful and right in the word.


This is also a statement that I feel shows me that I must leave all inhibitions and fear at the altar. Not at the door. I do not want to pick them back up. In order for me to be successful and be used of God, I must allow Him to work through me. I must let the Holy Spirit do it's job and consume me to be the best I can be. Understanding that I am human and those feelings will be there, but to not let them overcome me and run my life. So when I get up to sing, I am relaxed in knowing that it is the Lord leading me to sing the notes and not waver in my strength.


I am proud to be a Christian and a soldier for Christ! I am in awe of what He has brought to me so far and am full of excitement to see what all He has in store for me.


I do ask for prayers of peace among my heart, courage to get up and act in the way that I know is right and strength to do my best for Him.
