Donations

Of course nothing in this world is free (except salvation!!!), and this training with AMTC is anything but cheap. I know that the Lord will provide the necessary means of payment for the program, but if you feel called from the Lord to contribute to my AMTC Shine fund, please contact me!

No amount is to small.

Not only is there the fee for the program, but there are expenses for when I will be traveling to Orlando in July. Brandon will also be traveling with me so we will have double airfare, hotel and food expenses while there. I will be there for 6 days, July 3-8 and there are many things to cover while we will be there that long. The cost of the training program includes the one-on-one training and workshops (over 50 hours worth of training) and 3 showcases once I get to Orlando. I would really like to participate in more showcases, but each showcase is an additional cost.

Please pray that the Lord provides what is needed for me to be a part of the number of showcases He wants me in.

Feel free to message me on here, facebook or email!

AMTC

So Saturday was a day filled with nerves, anxiety and peace from the Lord. Brandon and I traveled to Flower Mound to AMTC (Actors, Models and Talent for Christ). This is a talent agency that, if chosen, prepares you in areas that they think you will succeed in in the entertainment industry. They are a really devoted to Christ and His teachings about getting the word out to the masses through media, music, television, print and any mainstream entertainment.

After sitting through a couple of hours of learning about the company and what they can do for your career, they started to call numbers to begin the auditions. I was up first! Out of hundreds of people there to audition for singing, acting, modeling, dance and stand up comedy I was the first for the singing category. I was nervous because I had been battling a cold and my voice was not 100 %. I walked into the room (with Brandon) and there was Yaku. He has been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years, most of those being with Sony records! But, the Lord delivered on my prayers of peace and less nerves. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect audition!

While in the room, he talked with me a bit about how I did. He had only positive things to say about what I sang. He said that I had an interesting voice and would like to see me do something in the bluegrass type of music. Everyone also had to read a script. He mentioned that he wanted to see me do something in acting and even commercial modeling! He felt that I had a great personality and he could really see my love for the Lord.

I had to wait until the next day to see if I got a call back and I did! My prayer through all of this is that I want to serve the Lord and for Him to be able to use me in the way that He has planned. I was initially wanting just to have a connection to someone that I could make some cd's and get the word out through song. He has provided a much bigger opportunity that I had ever imagined. He is so good!

So now I am in training for the next 5 months. I have songs to find and learn, acting to practice and modeling to improve on. There will be several weekends where I will have to go back to Flower Mound and go through one on one workshops to help me get better for my showcases in July.

In July, I will be traveling to Orlando and have the opportunity to showcase what I have learned from 50-100 of the top agents and labels in the business. Wow! Just thinking about this is such a blessing.

Prayers are really what is needed. I am really wanting this to be my mission field and infiltrate the entertainment industry and share the gospel with others. Pray that my voice continues to be what the Lord wants it to be. Pray that I find the right songs that God knows is the best for me to show off His talent He gave me. Pray that I am able to figure out how to act!!! And that I am able to have good nutrition habits that keep me healthy. Of course, prayers that I continue to do His will and follow on the path that He has provided to me!
